I open a site, it loads and i'm already reading or looking at it and suddenly it turns into a blank page without me doing nothing or moving or clicking anywhere. Have happened to me on 3 different addresses

Hi. I'm having a problem with Firefox. Lately it have happened to me that I'm looking at a site and suddenly the site turns into a white blank page and that happens without me doing anything or clicking anywhere. The site loads normally and I can navigate through the page but then all the content disappears and shows just a white page. At first I thought it was a problem with the address because that problem happened to me just in this one(http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=231&cat=144&category=142) while I was looking at the classifieds but today I was browsing other pages(e.g. www.collegeboard.org) and the same thing happened. And it doesn't happen on every site, so far is has been just in a couple of addresses. Then, in order to fix this, I have to click the "go back one page" button to get to the same page I was on. It looks like when it turns white is because it goes to a different page because if I reload that white page nothing happens until I click "go back". I hope you can help me.

Try the Firefox SafeMode.
A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)

  1. You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode by holding the Shft key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  2. Or use the Help menu item, click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled... while Firefox is running.

To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.
