I upgraded my Firefox at the suggestion of Yahoo. After I did the upgrade i have been having connection issues. Every time I close my Firefox, reopen it, and try to pull up a web page I get a "The proxy server is refusing connections". So I go under Tools>Options>Advanced>Network>Connection and I set the proxy server settings to "No Proxy" and I can begin pulling up pages. But the minute I close Firefox and reopen it, the settings have reset and I automatically get the "The proxy server is refusing connections" error message again. Every time I close and reopen Firefox I have to mess with the proxy settings? How can I make them stop resetting?

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

See "Firefox connection settings":

I understand and already am aware of what you are saying. What I am trying to get across is that every single time that i restart my Firefox I have to reselect the option for the proxy server settings. How can I make my settings stay as what I chose and not have to repeatedly fix the issue when I open Firefox?
