Custom Alerts in Thunderbird
I need to have the capability to have a custom alert popup on screen when mail from a certain email address arrives.
I've searched the help sections, I've looked at add-on's, and I've found nothing like this discussed.
Basically it would be triggered by the filter tool - only it would be an action like "Show alert 'email from [sender] has arrived'"
Anyone have any ideas?

FiltaQuilla adds actions to filters such as Launch File, which can be defined for a sound file, that plays when From is a particular sender.
That might be a solution for someone who listens to sounds - but my wife carefully ignores them. I'd prefer a popup message saying something like "New mail from [mailsender] has arrived, click OK to open it.."
Launch File can refer to any file, such as a text that says 'message from Joe' or a picture of Joe with 'new message' written on it.
