Lost passwords - need help
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I updated firefox and when I went in for my passwords and logins they were all gone. I checked the old firefox data on my desktop (from an old reset) and there is no logins fire besides one that is corrupt. Is there any way I can get my logins and passwords back?

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there?
You can try to open the logins.json file in a text editor to see if you can identify in what way the file is corrupt.
You can use "Pretty Print" in the Scratchpad for inspection, but PP changes double quotes to single quotes and that will corrupt the file, so only use this for inspection.
Note that there can be a problem with the key3.db file that stores the encryption key.
