Hi there, I have been using Thunderbird email for a while now and all of a sudden people are not receiving my emails. The sent box has them as sent and nothing is coming back saying they weren't sent and the only reason why I know they are not sending is because recipients are telling me so. I, also, did a test and sent an email to my yahoo and I did not get the email. I've tried everything to figure it out and I know all my smtp settings are right. Does anyone know what the problem could be? thanks!

What does your mail provider say the problem is?

If there was an error in passing the message to the server you would be notified. As you were not the outgoing server got the mail, so you need to ask your mail provider what they did with it. Note here that mail servers have logs of all mail send that contain diagnostic information

The sent email never made it to their server. On their side it doesn't show that anything was sent.

Are you using POP or IMAP mail? Sent mail only synchronizes to the server in IMAP accounts. It is not really diagnostic either, as the source is Thunderbird, not your providers server.

What mail provider are you using? Have you actually spoken to them or logged a support request?
