In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the ~/Library folder is a hidden folder.

Do you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop as the result of a reset/refresh of Firefox?

How did you remove this profile folder? Did you use the Profile Manager or did you do this otherwise?

Can you find this profile folder in the Trash or in a possible Time Machine backup?

If you use the Time Machine then try to restore the file(s) from that backup.
