I've tried turning off safety mode several times and have cleared the cache and cookies even reinstalled Firefox but it still won't turn off YouTube Safety Mode unless I run Mozilla as an administrator. Any help would be great appreciated!

It will depend who is logged in in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG-H2R4nktg Make sure that you have not selected locking the safety mode on the browser.

I have tried signing in to youtube to disable the safety lock but even that didn't get rid of the safety mode issue it still won't turn it off. I'm the only one who uses this computer so no one else would have been able to turn on the safety lock.

HI Mr.Pickle, When you turn it off, log out and back in to make sure there are no login issues. There is also a selection on the bottom of the page that offers a drop down for Safety status. Even when unlocked the safety can be changed there. Please see the location of this in the url cor-el provided.
