I still have not been able to resolve this issue. Below are the 3 comments I made and the 1 answer I received, which did not solve the issue:

A few days ago, Yahoo decided to put up a vertical section on the right side of the game window that takes up 30% of the screen in the game. I have not been able to get rid of it. I asked the Yahoo Customer Care rep and she said that it is not supposed to happen as the game should not be stopped by the ads and that I should try with another Browser. I tried it with Chrome and that ad section was not there with Chrome. I was told that it was probably a browser issue and I did disable most of the add-ons and plug-ins but it did not work. Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of that vertical ad section?

"the one answer I received":

There are add-ons available from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ to help prevent ad pop-ups and ads to show plainly.

This problem is not a pop-up. First of all the problem did not start until Yahoo changed their set up for ads in Yahoo Games. Once it did start, the ads do not "pop-up", it is a vertical bar that is there all the time. You cannot get rid of it. By the same token, it is not a Yahoo Problem since the problem does not exist using another server. Yahoo says it has to do with some add-ons or plug-ins in Firefox that is causing the problem. As you can see by the screen picture, one third of the game screen has a vertical ad area. I want to get rid of it.

I did add the "Yahoo Mail Hide Ad Panel" add-on but it did not help, at least not with the game section where the vertical ad panel is presently located. Any other suggestions?
