hello i think you can just go into your android device's settings menu and remove the currently setup sync-account under Accounts & Sync. afterwards just pair the device again to the currently set up sync account as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-sync-share-bookmarks-and-more-with-firefox-mobile#w_part-2-get-the-easy-setup-code-on-your-mobile

I don't want to set up Firefox Sync. I saw the article and it doesn't say how to disconnect a device from Sync so I can go through the set up process again.

That is exactly what I want to do.

I guess the issue was with android but in the end I managed to find the remove button of my sync-account and add it again. Thanks!
