The forward and backward button are greyed out. it can reappear but then they dont work properly and can send out several pages back when you just wanted to go back one page.

Strangely enough the problem solved it self after some restarting of both computer and firefox. I suspect it could have something to do with a virus/trojan I had or flash not upgraded, those were the only thing I fixed between when I discovered the problem and it went back to normal.
