Using TBird 115.10.1 64-bit on Windows 11. For ease of reading text in mail I am composing, I would like to select a large font size. In Settings | Fonts I chose Arial 18; but for some reason I get a small monospaced font whenever I start a new message. I can enlarge it with Ctrl-Plus, but it reverts to its old ways for the next new message. How can I make the change stick?

have you perhaps decided to compose in plain text. That has not font names on the toolbar between the body and addressing information.

Thanks for your response. Part of my problem may be that I can't find how to make choices like that in TB. Settings | General has Fonts & Colors which is set to Arial 18, but I see no options under Composition, Account Settings, etc. I need a road map...

I am comfortable composing in plain text which is evidently somehow my setting; but I would like it in a bigger size.
