Dear Friends at Firefox,

There is only one reason that i'm using Firefox less and less ; because of the download files options. When i choose the option to download to a particular location, inspite of that, most files get down loaded to the firefox download folder and i always have to go there and then copy or move it out to a location desired.

There is no easily vavilable info about that.

Would request some info and help for the same. i have tried all that i could from the current browzer settings and it has not helped.

Been a loyal fan of Firefox and would love to have this resolved.

Are they mostly PDF documents?

You can force attachment PDFs that are opened to ask where to save by changing browser.download.force_save_internally_handled_attachments to true in about:config. Historically they used to be saved to the system temp folder but this was changed to the downloads folder.
