Links in messages I write are not clickable on some GMail accounts or devices?

I often send messages where I insert a link of some kind. What I am hear occasionally from recipients is that the links are not clickable. The URL seems correct--and it works -fine- for me on all my devices, but for some reason on their specific device (usually an Android phone w gMail) they can't click the link.

Any ideas?
