I just wanted to copy and paste an image into an email. For one image I get a little box, but can't see the image. For the other image, it will not paste in, even though it will paste into other programs. Note it all works fine in Outlook. This is routine, why is it so hard here? Jeff

Do you realize that paste requires Thunderbird to recognize the format of the image, uess at an appropriate file type and save the image to that file type. Lots of places that can go wrong. Especially if your copying from proprietary image sorfware. What format does the program put on the clip board for Thunderbird to wirk with? what resolution does it place on the clip board?

One of the issues we see here in this forum often is folk trying to post screen captures that are absolutely huge because they have no idea about files or file sizes. their upload here does not work and they get miffed. Perhaps you trying to paste an image of several Gigabyte into your mail. when anything over a few hundred KB is over kill.
