Are you using the Password Manager? Try entering the data manually.

Note that there is usually no need to remove all cookies as this will include cookies from websites you want to keep.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
  • click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) at the left end of the location/address bar
  • click the arrow to expand the security message
  • click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info"
  • click "Permissions" to inspect and modify permissions
  • click "Security" to inspect and modify cookies and passwords in a standalone window
