Adobe plug-in causing Firefox on Mac to crash?

Firefox started crashing recently on my Mac, perhaps after I recently upgraded Firefox. This morning I updated Adobe Flash, and reinstalled Firefox, but it's crashed several times since then. It seems to crash while loading pages that contain moving images.

I've tried turning off Hardware Acceleration in the preferences, but that hasn't helped.

I've gone to the same web pages with Chrome and Safari, and neither of those have crashed.

I am using Firefox 37.0.1, MacOS 10.8.5, and Adobe Flash Player 17.0.0.134.

I opened a new tab in Firefox and typed "about: crashes", and will paste the five most recent crash report ID numbers below.

Any help you can give me would be great - Firefox is my preferred web browser, but this is getting problematic.

Thanks, Mary

I would recommend reinstalling flash after running the uninstaller. Both of the last two crash reports have two different versions of the plugin detected (16 and 17)

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.

Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.

Flash Player Version 17.0.0.134
