How to add the quit button (power icon or red-X) to a toolbar?

At the bottom-right of the Menu popup window (on the same line as +Customize) is the Quit button (looks like a power icon). A similar Quit button appears in the Firefox menu popup, but at lower-left.

To use either of these (which close multiple windows and save the session) requires at least two clicks: One to pop open the submenu, then the second to click the command.

In FF 33, there is not a way that I can find to place either button on a toolbar so that the Quit/Save function can be accessed in one click. Neither am I able to find a non-android addon that provides this usability.

Is there a workaround, addon, setting, or whatever, that will allow one of these Quit buttons to be placed on a toolbar?

Hello

This is an old add-on but it seems to still work:

After installing it will likely be hidden in your customization screen, so you will have to bring it to one of your toolbars. Either enter about:customizing in your address bar or go to:

  • New Fx Menu > Customize

This does work, thanks. Since a lot of the older addons have problems, I (mistakenly) didn't try it.

Let me leave this question open for a few days and see if any better fixes come up. Can this be the best solution?'

EDIT With no other suggestions, I'm accepting Cory's answer. Exit Button is a minimal 8k and gets the job done.

Some may wish to change out the pitiful stop button graphic, but that's a matter of preference.

This is yet another extension needed (like Vertical Toolbar) to provide a feature that should be native in the UI (IMO).

Of course, being able to have these features, even with the extra work, is the reason most people stay with FF.
