Folks, days ago, I posted a problem with BOTH Thunderbird and Firefox (pls. refer to /questions/1020334 < https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1020334 > ) This post is here - merely out of frustration. I comprehend that the Mozilla Community is supported by volunteers who expend their valued talents and time to help others in need.

That said, I hope you will take time to understand the frustration that a USER is likely to feel, when technical solution POSSIBILITY appears further than remote - an assessment mainly reached by the nature of "non-response" noted - to the question that has been posed.

When someone PRIMARILY uses a product for a purpose, and if it fails all of a sudden, there is a huge frustration that normally originates from JUST not being able to be functional to the desired extent. Adding to that here is the fact that a largely technical person has been unable to unearth the problem (short of delving into the innards of Thunderbird and Firefox; both of which are not desirable states for this user.

The inability to manage the volume of email normally received in a day for instance, and in the interim, is forcing me to think of alternatives. Just not sure where to go with Mozilla products at this point - for my part. To be certain, I cannot even find a DECENT response to EITHER program "hanging," in Mozilla fora, that could logically aid in any rudimentary manner to trouble-shoot issues at hand.

I am posting this note in the hope that some wise being will be able to assist.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
