An error occurs and all tabs and firefox is shut down without confirming me to close it or not. The error is C:\Programfiles(x86)\hometab\InstallHelper.dll An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file delete file failed,code5. Access denied Click Retry, ignore or skip or abort to cancel installation. I have abort it an restart it unless it doesn't work for other options. IS it a bug?? please give response asap.

Hi, C:\Programfiles(x86)\hometab\InstallHelper.dll is not a valid dll. I wonder if that is a hijacker.

I would run a virus scan and maybe reinstall Firefox. Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
