I was wonder when the next browser update may be come as I would like to watch YouTube on Firefox again. As it has been over a month since the last update that made it so YouTube doesn't load the video anymore. (I have tried every suggestion online to correct this and nothing)

For about the past week I've been having trouble with Gmail and Google Search in my Firefox browser. Typically, I open a Firefox window with multiple tabs and leave the window open all day. I always have Gmail and Google Calendar open in tabs. What happens is that the Gmail tab will at some point give me a message that it cannot connect and has timed out and is trying to reload, but it never reloads, it just stalls. Then I try to open a Google search bookmark to search and the tab remains blank. This happens multiple times throughout the day. Meanwhile I can open Gmail or any Google page in Chrome, which I don't like using.

Sometimes I can close out the Gmail tab that won't load and try to open Gmail in a new tab, but that stalls out too. The only way I can open Gmail again is to close out the Firefox window completely and then relaunch it, then it can open Gmail or Google... until it breaks again.

This never used to happen. I'm using the latest versions of Windows 10 and Firefox on my desktop PC. Nothing else has changed.

Please help me fix this, it's very annoying.

Since the latest Firefox update, a little notification icon about autofill addresses has appeared to the left of the web address line. It keeps asking if I want to save an address that I entered in someone's contact, so no I never want to save that in my autofill, but it doesn't give me that option. Has this happened to anyone else?

Firefox keeps asking me if I want to save an address that I entered in a contact and I can't get it to stop. It doesn't have NEVER as a choice. I tried saving it and it went in my autofill, but I don't want it there. I deleted it and then it started asking me if I want to save it again. HELP!

Let’s say I use Manage Bookmarks to rearrange my bookmarks into different folders & also delete a lot of old bookmarks on my desktop computer. Are all the changes I just made immediately reflected in my Mozilla account if Sync is on? My (vague) understanding is that the Sync configuration in my Mozilla account acts as a master configuration; does that mean the Mozilla account configuration will overwrite the configuration on my laptop when it Syncs? Or will the laptop’s configuration instead be combined with the desktop’s configuration in the Mozilla account, thereby creating duplicate bookmarks in different folders & recreating all the old bookmarks I so painstakingly removed?

Having an issue where Youtube live streams works for around 30 seconds and then "Something went wrong" error happens and the stream stops. I've tried Troubleshooting Mode and it continues to happen.

Oddly, using a private browsing window fixes it. I figured that may mean that I should clear my cache/cookies but that didn't fix it for normal browsing. From my testing it doesn't appear to be extension related because I've tried a private browsing session with all of my extensions allowed in private and the stream was steady.

Disabling Hardware Acceleration didn't do it either.

I'm on Windows 10. Firefox Version - 128.0.3 Build ID - 20240725162350

If there are any other steps I can take to troubleshoot, please let me know.

For weeks now I have been unable to sign into Microsoft.com to get support help through chat or receive a call back. These can only be achieved by signing in. The only Microsoft product that I can use is my Outlook mail app, which I have been able to sign into. But this is not connected with Mozilla Firefox. There is no other way that I know of to contact Microsoft. I've tried signing in on Microsoft Edge as well, I get an error message there as well. Since this problem started with trying to sign in on Mozilla Firefox, I assume this is where the issue was created. If I cannot sign into Microsoft.com, I am locked out of getting any help resolving this issue. There is no other way to reach Microsoft. The phone number they has no live person, only a robot which will answer questions only and then hang up.

Can someone here at Mozilla, please help me????

Hi, I have windows 10 desktop,,,, I use Microsoft Edge and Firefox but firefox is my default browser... I use Tagged and HI5 often.. My problem is ads on tagged and HI5 (Both are sister companies? I get ads but no way of blocking them I have just tried all kinds of adblockers on firefox just waste of time... But the worst thing is those ad's that tagged display all infected... I use Norton and Malwarebyts when I click on the ad's they both come on asking me to stay away all their ad's are infected... I have sent 5 emails to Tagged telling them what is going on but I had no reply at all negative or positive and they are infecting peoples computers or mobiles if they are not using Antivirus.... Ad's are always on when I use firefox but but when I use Microsoft Edge no ad's somehow but Microsoft Edge is much slower then Firefox,, when I click on to something it goes round and round and says Hang tight....What should I use on firefox to stop those Tagged ads..On tagged settings ads section has been unchecked but nothing stops them from popping up even the adblockers that I have...But only on firefox... For 2 days now I have a big problem! Firefox froze, and I ended up closing it with the programme manager. When I wanted to reopen I got this: Firefox est déjà en cours d’exécution mais ne répond pas. L’ancien processus Firefox doit être arrêté pour pouvoir ouvrir une nouvelle fenêtre. BUT - it refuses to close when I click on "close" (fermer).

I tried the programme manager - but Firefox isn't shown as being open.

I've made a back up of my profile. I can't delete parent.block ... I'm told "Firefox is running already" and I must close it. Every troubleshooting step comes to the same barrier to completing it! Almost all guide one from an open Firefox page - and I can't open Firefox! I can't "uninstall" for the same reason!

All my passwords are in Firefox - and I can't import them to Chrome without closing Firefox completely! I'm going mad - urgent need to access my passwords!

I reorganized my bookmarks that accumulated haphazardly over many years -- it mainly had to do with getting new computers and reinstalling browsers that automatically imported by bookmarks.

Anyway, I want to make a fresh start so that involved several days work, and I got it done on Edge then imported them successfully into Chrome, Opera, and Duckduckgo.

However, I have run into problems with Firefox.

First, I had more problems deleting the bookmarks, which I thought I'd do, but finally found a tutorial that helped me do that. But couldn't import the bookmarks. So, I thought I'd reinstall. Did that twice but both times it automatically populated the old bookmarks. Then I watched a tutorial that showed me how to change settings so I could view hidden files. This time I was able to import the bookmarks but they aren't showing up. Where are they because I received a message that they were imported.
