I'm using Firefox 129.01 (64-bit), trying to log in to my Tufts Health Plan account, and get a security warning (screen shot attached). Customer Service at Tufts Health Plan tells me that I should use Chrome.

Should I ignore the Warning and proceed?

hibid.com will not open in Firefox but will open on Edge. I am not using private browser mode. I have manually typed in the username and password / I have closed the window and tried again.

I want to sequester Address Bar Function in the main address area for web address or native locations, from search function contained inside of the window, the search should be only a web search, but I think that part is covered in standard settings, so address. Thanks Much

I keep getting a browser error message on a site that I use almost daily. I have cleared cookies and cache and run the troubleshooter but still get the same message. Thanks.

Ik heb 5 dagen geleden firefox opnieuw moeten installeren omdat ik steeds een foutmelding kreeg. Volgens mij is er toen een en ander misgelopen. Ik ben mijn geschiedenis, bladwijzers en wachtwoorden kwijt. Tot daar..het meeste is opgelost. Maar ik kan niet meer inloggen bij Scarlet webmail ondanks dat mijn gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord juist zijn. Hel lukt wel als ik via Microsoft Edge probeer of als ze het bij Scarlet zelf proberen. Hoe kan ik dit oplossen?

It's been a while since this problem first occurred but I am now very sure that this is about Firefox and not about graphics driver. This happens both when the hardware acceleration is turned on and turned off.

When I open a website that has mainly images or videos, the browser goes blitz (Reddit, Twitch, etc.). Screen splits to multiple views, it starts flickering and continues until I switch to another tab or quit Firefox. For flickering to stop, I need to restart the computer. I can also send a video if you can communicate a proper way of sharing. (Drive link, youtube, etc.)

Is there any way I can ensure Firefox does not break things on my computer?

For the longest while, FF has been wasting a lot of my time by being non-responsive a lot. Is there anything I can do to eliminate the non-responsiveness?

The other problem that I have experience also on a regular basis when searching is waiting for Google to transfer info to FF.

Years ago, this wasn't the case. I am also hoping that a fix exists to speed up FF.

I know I'm not the first person to report this problem, but the webappsstore.sqlite file in my profile folder is very large, over 85 MB. I don't want to delete it because I don't want to lose my bookmark data, which are stored in this database (I even double-checked this by temporarily moving the database out of my profile folder, basically as if it were "deleted," and started Firefox, and sure enough all my bookmarks' data were gone).

I tried running `sqlite3 vacuum` on it, but that only reduced it to 79 MB. Is there another way to further cleanup old or unimportant data in this database?

If you go to "view", "toolbars", "customize toolbox", you'll see a box titled "search". Problem is, it's worthless. It used to be, you could either search in there using your pre-selected search engine or click on one of the others that are displayed and search using that one. Now, it just sits there taking space. What is the purpose of this? Another thread here titled, "[[Pressing Enter in empty search bar doesn't work anymore|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1452133?page=2#answer-1669039]]", discusses how the search page no longer works either.

If using just the search bar is "a power that be's" version of efficiency, it's not.

I get this sometimes when moving/backing up profile contents, even when the the eventual path of the moved contents will be shorter than the original.

I have a problematic profile, so I copied it's contents to another folder with a shorter title in the same directory, but I prevented from including the file in question.

In this particular situation, the file in question is an .html file opened in a session tab. I assume It's omission not going to be detrimental.

Has anyone seen this sort of thing occurring with files that directly affect profile operations? I'm wondering if that sort of thing might be contributing to my current recurring profile issues.

I'm trying to figure out why my unpinned tabs I have in Firefox keeps refreshing on its own as I switch over to them as opposed to the pinned tabs which doesn't refresh on its own from time to time as I use Firefox. So, I don't know if this is due to the current version I have in mind which is 128.0.2 and don't know if this will continue as I update Firefox from time to time when I use it. Hope this is clear enough and that you have any guidelines or thoughts on how i can get around this. Thank you in advance if you share your thoughts here.
