When I am surfing the web, at random moments a new tab will open for "News Daily 7" and if I don't close it quick enough a pop-up will appear titled "9newstoday.net". I have tried SpyBot, Adaware, Malwarebytes, IObit Malware, etc. and none of them remove it. My pop-up blocker is on high. Any thoughts??

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

How is your computer now after trying the above tools? If you still have the 9newstoday.net virus problem, then you may try to manually get rid of it (manual removal instruction: http://blog.teesupport.com/how-to-remove-9newstoday-net-redirect-completely-manual-removal-for-9-news-today-virus/).

Thank you for the replies. As mentioned I have most of those programs you listed in the first reply. The only one I didn't have was superantispyware. I got it and did a scan and so far I don't have the problem anymore. Amazing to me that the four or five other programs I had through constant scanning couldn't seem to find it. Oh well. Thanks for the posting the manual removal link. It happened so randomly that only time will tell if it is completely gone. If it happens again, I will do the manual removal.
