Not haveing my own internet connection I use the machines at the public library, which supply IE. To use Firefox I downloaded and installed Firefox 4 on a flash drive and did so at the library. But now I can not install Firefox 5 the same way.

Use Firefox Portable. It is configured for installation on a flash drive.
