After a full day sending and receiving emails, out of the blue the Send button was no longer visible anywhere in Thunderbird, version 115.3.1 for Mac, running on Mac OS Monterey v. 12.7 . Tried many of the suggested solutions, nothing worked except while restarting in Troubleshooting mode, when the send button reappeared. After restarting in a regular mode, the send buttons are again gone.

If you got as far as the troubleshooting mode you will have seen the disable all addons and restart option. I suggest you try that one. If that does not do it. Look to any antivirus program you may have, they often inject incompatible addons into the running process and mess up new versions of Thunderbird.
