After loading the lastest Firefox software I get this message when selecting AT&T Yahoo Mail.

Specifically: https://mail.yahoo.com/ returns the following message... "The latest version of AT&T Yahoo Mail is not supported on your browser. Please use a supported browser below or use basic Mail."

It then lists: the Firefox download as an option (I have selected download many times, the download completes and still get this message). I have tried restarting my computer and same loop.

You appear to have a user agent that is modified by Avast Anti-Track that could be causing problems, so if you do use this software then try to disable it. You will have to contact Avast about this if their software causes problems for you. We can't do much about this apart from identifying Avast Anti-Track as a possible cause.
