I could not log into Firefox on new PC. Got email, reset password, still failed. However, synch now works!

I wanted to report this to the community, but could not log in. Reset password using email link and still could not log in. So, I created a new ID for the community, which I am now using.

I want to access my community account with the email account that I use for Firefox. Shouldn't this be the default?

The Firefox Account (for Sync and other services) user name / password uses a different registration and database system than that which is used for this support fora. There is no problem with using the same email address for registration for both, but signing up needs to be done for each separately.

Ok, they are distinct. However, I now have two support login id's and can't use the one I want, which is my Firefox id. Even though separate, i still think it would be better if they were equal.
