How can folders be copied without using 'copy to'?

We are trying to avoid the 'copy to' feature in TB. It is difficult to work with many files and is slow which causes crashes. An inbox file from an old profile was copied to a new imap profile offline in windows (not in TB). TB saw the copied inbox in the new profile offline but these were deleted after IMAP went online. The copied inbox file is still in the new profile folder and is unchanged. Why does this not work? Will this inbox file be overwritten or appended?

Second question: Why are files moved with 'copy to' offline deleted with IMAP after going online? 'Copy to' does work without deleting with imap but only when online. Is there a way to move file while offline and not have them be deleted after going online?

You'll need to copy the Inbox file to a folder underneath your 'Local Folders' account, not underneath your IMAP account.

TB saw the copied inbox in the new profile offline but these were deleted after IMAP went online.

This is the expected behavior with IMAP. You'll need to upload the messages from your Local Folders account to the IMAP server.
