I need to send a new message through mail merge with a new attachment. I save the new message with the new attachment as a template then I click on the template and choose send/mail merge. The mail merge dialog box opens and lists an old attachment or no attachment.

I am using TB 45.2.0, Windows 10, IMAP Mail Server, and Message Synchronization has been turned off.

Thank you!

Tested the issue on my Vista.

Followed same procedure as you. when you click on File > Mail Merge

Make sure you select: Deliver mode: 'Send Later' option - this will put it in the 'Outbox' folder so you can check it. make sure the 'Attachments' is empty - do not want to send an old attachment.

click on OK

Do you see the email in the Outbox and does it have the attachment? It does in my case. In which case you can then use the 'send unsent messages' or delete the email(s) because maybe it was just a test.
