I'm trying to install an english dictionary but after clicking "install" it asks me to restart my computer. So I click restart but it doesn't respond. When I use the restart function from the start menu, my computer does restart but the add-on dictionary is not "added on".

Can someone please help me with this? Thank you

from the above site dictionary.com you can go from tools :

http://dictionary.reference.com/tools to Free Firefox Plug-ins :

http://dictionary.reference.com/tools/firefox.html

and then to http://mycroft.mozdev.org/ , here you can find Search Engine Plugins

(and dictionary) see : http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-engines.html?name=dictionary

Cambridge British English Dictionary and so on....

The english dictionary add-on, is from the official site with add-on : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/ and if it is, which is the add-on ?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I found a site: dictionary.com and have bookmarked it so I can access that site when I need to look up a word. I think my problem was I was trying to get a dictionary as an "add-on" (similar to a news add-on or a translator add-on) but I wasn't able to do that. Bookmarking the dictionary site works for me so I guess my problem has been solved.

(I'm still very new to cyberspace so if my explanation sounds completely "out there", that's the reason.)

Thank you again for your time
