Firefox crashed each time. In safe mode, etc. I have uninstalled FF and reinstalled FF several times. Between I have cleaned my registry. All to no avail. While installing FF I chose not to have FF as my standard browser. But it still behaves as such. And because it crashed immediately I have to completely uninstall FF so that I can use my system normally (like using the Address in the taskbar to google or visit a website. Or using a link in my email to confirm something setting up an Mozilla account to send this message)

This seems to be caused by Roboform. Installing the latest version 7.6.3 of Roboform should solve this problem.

Hi Knorretje, thanks I installed the latest version of Roboform and at least FF does not crash anymore. But - although I did not make it my standard browser - it still keeps acting that way.

Maybe you can start another browser and make that one the default browser.

Sorry for the slow reply. I already made IE9 the default (because with the latest version of FF it hangs regularly and is slower than IE9). Before sending my reply I wanted to see what happens if Safari is set as the default. And the same when ChromePlus is the default. Because there are no problems when either Safari or Chrome+ is the default it seems that setting IE as the default is causing the problem. So thanks for helping me finding the reason for the crash. It is no longer an FF problem (and apparently never was). I will indicate that your answer about Roboform solved the problem.
