What email providers is thunderbird connect for your email?

Old link: How to change password for existing mail account https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1229270

But sounds like this isn't from Thunderbird side but what every email provider your using to make the change is what it sounds like.

looks like someone transferred the topic.

We have preferences not options this release. Next release apparently we will be using Settings.

This thing about passwords is rather perennial, and something I really do not really understand. If you change the server password, Thunderbird will fail to connect and ask for the new password and offer to save it.

Thanks for the tips, Matt. I will go back to Thunderbird and see if they work in my version (whatever it is). Larry

Now I can't send (to myself is all I've tried) I hoped the same rule would apply: Send-it, get rejected, put in new password. But no, password continues to be rejected.  ????
