Make sure you have the latest Widevine version (4.10.2391.0).

  • Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins

You can toggle DRM off/on to see if that makes Firefox (re)load DRM components.

You can possibly check the XHR requests in the Browser Console if this doesn't work.

Are you getting this error? see screenshot

Yes I am now getting this error. I disabled drm and then re-enabled it. Neither allows me to watch videos.

Try downloading another copy of Firefox and run it from the folder. Do not sign into your Firefox account and see if you have the same issue.

Now I am back to original problem. See message attached. I have tried to sort out with amazon but they say there is nothing wrong with my account and for them all should work fine. They said to explore problem with firefox.

Provide a link to the video you are trying to watch.

That video is not available in my area. How about this one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B093CNZ7ST/ref=atv_dp_share_cu_r

Also, you may want to check the status of your Prime account. see screenshots That last pic from you does mention your payment method.

You can try to enable auto-play (click the icon on the location bar) since the screen shows you block auto-play.

to jonzn. Yes, I can watch that video. I tried others for those with a US prime acct accessing from outside the US and they also worked. However I have prime accts in the US and in France (permanent resident) and neither work with the odd exception of the wheel of time. My payment method and account are both up to date. Do you think having 2 accounts is the obstacle? I don't use the US acct for streaming, only for shipping purchases in the US.

to cor-el I enabled auto-play and still receive the dreaded video unavailable 7035 message.

same issue. though i do not remember when it happened

i tried the usual things: clearing browser data, rebooting, going into safe mode, disabling hardware acceleration, etc

NOTE, the opera browser DOES play amazon videos.

is there a way to reinstall wildvine? perhaps that is the issue.

cor-el and nkhillside

The problem continues and I have the most recent Widevine updated 11 January. I still get this message but not on all videos included with Prime.

This is not a Widevine issue, but an issues about the license (i.e. you do not have the rights).

There is a change in Firefox 96 related to cookies and insecure sites.

As a workaround for now you can modify this pref on the about:config page to revert this change.

  • about:config => network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

@cor-el I tried the workaround and it allows me to access US amazon prime video but not the French one. On French prime video I continue to receive the same Video Unavailable message as above. Interesting. I am more interested in US prime video so it will do. Thanks for now.
