Hi, I frequent a telehealth site which has a video element on it that displays the other users outgoing webcam video stream, you know, like a zoom chat but built into an angular application I am accessing using Firefox. I am wondering why I do not get the option to send the video to PIP in Firefox? ... I do get the option in Chrome.

Is there some criteria that the video must meet in order to allow PIP? For instance, is PIP not allowed on a video stream that has no defined "end"?

Thanks for the help!

p.s. I do have the PIP parameter toggled on in Settings.

The video does need to meet some specific conditions to make the PiP icon appear.

You can possibly set media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.video-toggle.always-show = true on the about:config page.

Hi cor-el, thank you for your response! After setting the following parameter:

media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.video-toggle.always-show = true

The Picture-in-Picture tab did appear on the Telehealth video stream, but when clicked it failed to open the video in the PIP popup... I imagine this has something do to with type of video it is and reviewing videocontrols.js may shed some light on this.

Any more help would be great! I know the telehelath video is using twillio... I imagine other users have also had the need/want to PIP twillio video. Thanks!
