Hi All,

I've been using FF sync between four devices for a long time now. The devices are a Windows laptop, a Mac laptop, an iPhone and an IPad. A couple of weeks ago, the Mac stopped syncing. I've tried disconnecting from FF sync and reconnecting, but that has no effect.

I can log into the FF sync website itself with the same credentials. There, I also tried disconnecting the Mac client, but that also did not help.

In the last error log file, I see the following, which I guess is the cause of the problem. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

1531472554256 Sync.Service DEBUG Exception calling WrappedLock: LockException: Could not acquire lock. Label: "service.js: login". (resource://services-sync/util.js:41:5) JS Stack trace: LockException@util.js:41:5 throwLockException@util.js:117:11 WrappedLock@util.js:131:9 WrappedCatch@util.js:105:22 login@service.js:864:12 sync/<@service.js:1094:21 WrappedCatch@util.js:105:22 sync@service.js:1090:12 1531472554256 Sync.Service INFO Cannot start sync: already syncing? 1531472554257 Sync.Service DEBUG Not syncing: login returned false.

Chosen solution

I didn't need to create a Bugzilla ticket. I upgraded from branch v60 to 61, and the problem seems to have gone away.
