how do i keep the booKMARKS bar beneath the address bar

When I set the "title bar" in customize it places the bookmarks bar beneath the address bar, but it doesn't stay there. How do I keep it from resetting itself to above the toolbar? It's really annoying. Thank you.

Do you have any extensions that reorder toolbar including the position of the Tab bar?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
