Windows 10 professional for workstations Firefox build 126.0

My browser auto updated today and after the refresh I found that the history under the address bar has been broken. It now displays only in part and over top of the address bar itself which as you can imagine is unusable. See image attached.

I entered troubleshoot mode and the problem went away. So I disabled all my extensions and addons, but the problem persists (when not in trouble shoot mode)

Any idea what could be causing this? It is hampering my ability to do my job.

Hi. My hard drive crashed. I have a new pc and the old drive is readable in a drive enclosure hooked up to new PC via usb. I have done the typical search for the appdata profile file, but I am not sure what I have here. I have attached a screenshot of the old drive and a global search on "Thunderbird". I am not sure where the profile file is residing. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Firefox updated last night while my headphones were plugged in. Now I cannot get website audio through the headphones in Firefox. None of the solutions from help forums have worked. Audio settings seem fine and headphones work on other browsers.

Video is stuttering with latest update. This just started today, Ma7 17, 2024. I went to a different browser to confirm that it is firefox. This confirmed the issue. I checked the settings and I have selected everything as indicated in the help files. I tried turning off enhanced tracking function and I selected allow video and audio auto play. It still happens

Hi, As the title suggests, I am unable to delete emails from my work Microsoft account.

On attempting to delete an email, the following message is displayed:

"The current operation on "Inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account [email] responded: [TRYCREATE] The destination mailbox could not be found."

Checking the account settings, it seems Thunderbird cannot see the "Deleted Items" folder (it only shows Inbox and Drafts). I have attached images to show what I mean, comparing with a personal Microsoft/Outlook account where it sends deleted email to the correct place.

Using the latest Thunderbird version that is available on the Microsoft Store version on Windows 11. (115.9.0) I have tried removing and re-adding the account yet the problem persists. Any troubleshooting ideas welcome!

I am trying to switch from Google to Firefox, but I still use my Google email. I uploaded my contacts from Google to Firefox, but I am trying to edit my own contact info in Gmail contacts, but when I click the edit button, nothing happens. Do I need to edit it in Firefox, and will that edit migrate back to Gmail? Why can't I edit it in my Gmail contacts (in the Gmail right-hand toolbar), and it will update my Firefox contacts automatically?

If you are going to require "A" file type, fucking say what type it has to be and provide a converter or screenshot tool! I Tried .Docx and PDF. Word does not save to PNG or JPEG so they are not an option.

AT THIS POINT, I AM STRONGLY RECONSIDERING SWITCHING FIREFOX!!!!!!

I just updated to the latest version of Windows 10, and now when using Firefox (126.0), the url dropdown menu rather than dropping down now "floats" over the browser window with the top cut off. The top url is still there, and I can navigate to it using the arrow keys, but it doesn't show. This is new as of this morning, when Windows updated. No issue in other browsers.

It's pretty self explanatory. I have three different email address configured within Thunderbird and it does not recognize any of them as "Me". Within each account, they are displayed like anyone else's email.

Been using TB for over a decade and cannot for the life of me figure this out.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi I decided to donate so I could get rid of the automatic start of my browser showing the request for donation screen whenever I open Thunderbird. Even though I received the confirmation that I successfully donated, I still get the annoying request for donation. How do I stop the auto load of the browser?

Today my father lost all the sub folders below the folder Archives. Doe anybody know how to get them back?

I tried the following:

• Clicked on Folder Modes -> All Folders
• Tried the solution mentioned here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Local_Folders

The strange thing is I also don't see any .sbd or .msf files, with one of the names he mentions, under the directory Mail (in the profile directory). How can they suddenly disappear or be deleted?

If someone knows how to get the folders (with the e-mails) back, that would be very much appreciated!

I am getting to the end of my tether with Firefox. I have used it for years but the increasing issues are driving me to distraction.

It will not display comments on the Daily Mail UK website, The Telegraph UK site and the screen is scrambled if I try to use Ebay Philippines. I am not a computer expert but I have tried to follow other peoples suggestions with no luck.

I cant see the point of persisting with FireFox unless these issues are rectified.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Sometimes a mail comes in, a notification sound is played - but no notification pops up (Thunderbird notification).

How come?

The mail comes in normally and arrives in the inbox - it has no filter settings.

Hi,

The Lower Toolbar is quite handy, with for example Roboform.

Unfortunately, the way it's implemented, it comes above the lower part of the browser window, instead of being inserted at the bottom while the browser windows height is reduced.

That hides the search box when you type Control-F.

It would be nice if this could be addressed in a future release. I am using Firefox Developer 127.0b2.

I am using firefox 126.0 on linux mint 21.2 with an policy file in the directory "/usr/lib/firefox/distribution/policies.json". This is just working fine with one little problem. When opening firefox the first time, it does not apply the policy to set the startpage to the url in the policy file. All other policies seem to be applied correctly. I figured out, that at the first start of firefox, no user profile (folder) "~/.mozilla/" exists. When i click the little "house" button on the the top besides the refresh buton, the correct startpage is shown. After the first start this folder is created and then the policies work fine even the startpage shows up directly. Can I somehow use a template profiles-folder for new users, so they have the correct firefox feeling at the first start or is there something missing in my policy file ? The policy file has rights set to "644 root:root" Image of the policy file is attached because I can't upload files other then images.

Opened TB 115.11.0 (64 bit) this am A compact procedure started up. I am now left with a message whose subject is quite different from the content The next message has just come through - apparently no problem, but the original error remains. See screenshot. Not sure what to do next!

I'm a thunderbird user. I've been getting large blocks of 40 or 50 old (4-5 months old) emails in the middle of the current emails. I delete them, but they're still in their original location.
