I had the search box locked (visible) when i scrolled through the pocket recommendations but it now disappears when i scroll down. How do I lock it again?

The search box stays visible for me when scrolling on the new tab page. Are you using "Firefox Home (Default)"? Make sure you have "Web Search" enabled in "Firefox Home Content" settings.
