Hello,

I am using Thunderbird 115.6.1 (64-bit) desktop version. We have just been migrated to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online services. I have created a new account in Thunderbird with the settings given here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/pop-imap-and-smtp-settings-for-outlook-com-d088b986-291d-42b8-9564-9c414e2aa040.

However, when I try to send an email it says that it can not log into the server. On my Iphone I also needed to create a new account in the Apple mail App and there things work fine. I would appreciate if there would be some help since it`s not only the functionalities of Thunderbird I really appreciate.

Thanks a lot!

There are two Outlooks, the one you referenced, and Exchange, which is the one to which you are subscribed. Normally, whoever gave you the account would provide the necessary Exchange setup information. You may also need an addon, OWL or Exquilla, for the proper Exchange setup.
