Since last update open tabs are huge vertically. Their size appears to be related to the logo of of the link being viewed.
I have been using Thunderbird and ThunderBrowse together for many years without any issues. This started after the last Thunderbird update. I realize that ThunderBrowse has not been updated since October of 2012 and may finally obsolete.

Thank you for any suggestions. Tony

Yeah, Thunderbrowse was never a good idea in my opinion, as the Thunderbird developers have never been focused on the browser capabilities inherent to Geko. This absence of focus would probably quite probably leave you more exposed to security threats than if you were using a dedicated browser. The difference may not be great, but it is something I would not risk on an ongoing basis.
Recently you may, ormay not, have heard that Firefox is undergoing major changes to the engine and rendering. This work is not being reflected in Thunderbird at this time, nor are the changes Firefox are implementing to the types of add-ons that will work with Firefox.
So I think, except as a curiosity, it is probably time to finally retire Thunderbrowse even without this issue, although I would be interested in seeing the image you mentioned.
A bug in the forum unfortunately makes image uploads on initial posts fail.

WOW that is huge and ugly. IF your browsing is regularly things like the washington post. I use RSS feeds for them.
The Post lists it's feeds here https://www.washingtonpost.com/rss-feeds/2014/08/04/ab6f109a-1bf7-11e4-ae54-0cfe1f974f8a_story.html?utm_term=.963d83d2d24c
They add to Thunderbird and display the web page if you chance the default display setting. I find them preferable to the emails top stories in that they are no quite as in your face as the emails are.
You might find to need to select Thunderbird as your preferred feed reader as Firefox likes to claim them for itself until you tell it otherwise..
