after update all tabs are new tabs and typing websites wont bring you to any website just stays new tab, how to fix?
after the recent update. all my tabs are changed to new tabs. anything i type into those new tabs dont change it and wont bring me to my website. i reinstalled firefox, and i checked the support suggestions...

Maybe the problem was directX... i reset my laptop to the last point and now everytjing is working again. And the last point was before directx was installed. Thanks for your time, guys!

Are you getting any error messages?
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select Network. Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first use No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.
Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).

You can check in the the Windows Control Panel if you can find "NVIDIA Network Access Manager" or "NVIDIA ForceWare Network Access Manager" and uninstall this software.
