When I download messages, it often says there are say '6 new messages', but only 3 appear on the screen. I'm wondering whether the others are going to Junk, but I am unable to access it. So my question is, how do I access Junk Thanks David White

Hello, I have set up several mail accounts in Thunderbird. Unfortunately, the inbox of one account is not displayed in the Inbox group, the archive of another account is not displayed in the Archive group and the third account has an entry in the Sent group, but it is out of date. Instead, the current one can be found separately in the ‘Folder’ account. How can I fix this in the grouping view?

Good morning, I would like to ask you about differencies (0 messages vs. 4 message) in search in TB vs. Outlook. Please see in attachment. Can you help me with this problem pls? I use IMAP settings in both email clients. BR Tibor

I am trying to set up a new account so that I can send email through a mailroute server instead of my provider, comcast. I set up the account without a problem but I get an error when trying to send a message. I was never asked for an SMTP password and none is visible in the Saved Password window.

Debugging message filters and want to see the log. From message filters window I click box "Filter Log". It brings up the small config box of which a pic is attached. I can't find anyway to actually see or access the log. It must be hiding here somewhere ? ?

I have tried to clear the log so it is small in case it is large and takes long to load as I've seen elsewhere. No change.

I try to look this the "Activity Manage" which has some log like error messages but it is a mess of unordered seemingly random successes and some failures. This is another topic.

So, any guidance on how to use the filter log would be greatly appreciated.

I have found several on the internet, but none of them work.

At this point I am beginning to get desperate.

Still sorry for asking K-9 Mail questions on this forum. Can't find anywhere else. Every day, get an email on my phone that says: Failed to send some messages IllegalArgumentException: boundary can't be null

Does anyone know what it means and how I can fix it? If you know any specific site for K-9 Mail, please let me know.

Good morning Windows 10, TB 115.11.0 32 bit. Multiple email accounts, some gmail, others like sfr, lol and free. All accounts use POP. All working before weekend, shut down the PC. Monday morning, opened Windows, all seems there except TB which has a screen with an Account Setup tab inviting me to set up an existing email address. Close that tab and the attached screen image appears, open tabs blank, no accounts pane on the left, no emails, no local folders. Nuffin. Restart TB and Windows, twice, still Nuffin. Look in Profiles, yes, under Mail all profiles appear to be present and the correct size. Going to gmail’s on line email system shews account open and receiving email normally. I had a problem a month ago after a TB update when all accounts were present but no emails were displayed. I changed the password to 0auth and recovered my emails. That took three days to resolve and I lost a business client through the delay in responding. Today I must file several court documents or I shall be in deep poo. Any suggestions how to recover the left hand accounts pane and see the accounts and folders will earn my undying gratitude.

I am trying to sign in to my Yahoo email account in Thunderbird. I enter my email address, and my password (double checking it's correct), then I click Continue, then it finds a POP3 configuration for my email address. Then I click Done, and it stays stuck on "Checking Password", until ultimately it tells me "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username, or password."

Aside from this, I would like to store all my emails on the server (using IMAP?) and not on my computer using POP3. So when I go to configure IMAP manually and try to type in the values on this page ( https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN4075.html ) (although the fields don't exactly match), I type everything in and the "Done" button is greyed out so I can't even continue.

I found one other topic but they got farther than I did and they got to the Yahoo sign in screen which I did not, and they are using OAuth2 which I don't think I am, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know how I can fix this and set up my Yahoo account with Thunderbird?

When I try to download messages on one of several POP3 accounts I get the error message Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox. and it keeps downloading the last message I received before the problem started.

I have tried repairing the folder, clearing cache and even turning off my anti-virus for Thunderbird but to no avail. No problems on my other accounts

email on multiple computers using tbird we can only get it to work with one computer on each end - please help any help is greatly appreciated! We can only get it to work on one computer on either side.

Created several email mailing lists. Stored them in the Personal Address Book (PAB). I'm sorry, but Thunderbird doesn't seem to work like any other email client. How do I address an email using one of those mailing lists in the PAB. Tried typing the whole name of the mailing list in the To: field. Didn't work. I'm not entirely stupid but it doesn't make sense to me.

What is the way to tell thunderbird to index IMAP folders in global-messages-db.sqlite which are not stored locally?

And a more generally, how does this part work, message indexing and remote IMAP folders not stored locally? Here, after removing the database, thunderbird indexed only some very limited set of IMAP folders in the Gloda, but not all of the folders, despite all are checked for "Include in global search". Or maybe it didn't even index whole folders, - I can't say for sure.

So, like I said in the title...my Thunderbird minimizes to the tray, and every time I open it from the tray, it isn't opened full screen...maximized. It is restored down....like when you press that middle button, left from the X. I don't know it is called, it says Restore down when you hover it. I'm using the latest x64 bit version, and my OS is Win10 Pro. Let me just say, that it happens only if I leave my PC for a longer period of time, couple of hour and it goes to sleep. Once it's awaken, opening Thunderbird is not the issue anymore. Only the first time. Any ideas?

Whenever I start Thunderbird a brief, white screen flashes before the black background that I prefer loads. I have searched for a solution but found none. Could you help me getting rid of that screen? Thanks for any input.

transfering files from backup worked from V66 to V88

tryed V115b6 did not like it, what hidden files did it change ?? I recopied TB V88, Library files from backup and still get Welcome to TB page to setup my email  :-(  :-( Pls Msg me at [removed phone# and email from public support forum], HELP
