upgraded my Firefox from 3 to 4 and now when I open any sites or links I have about:blank in the address bar I understand this is spyware can I get rid of it by uninstalling Firefox

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
