TB will not retain SMTP server information.

Thunderbird 102.4.0 Fresh installation. 

 (a) IMAP works fine. 
 (b) SMTP cannot authenticate. 
 (c) The password is correct according to the ISP tech support. 
 (d) Looking in password manager, the entire entry is blank. Obviously the password won't work because TB does not recognize the SMTP server.
 (e) Tried to add server, still blank.

So, TB works, IMAP works, but TB forgets SMTP server definition (and, along with it, the password) Help would be appreciated. Bill B

Possibly, if you post a screenshot of the smtp settings, someone here may have recommendations.
