Why is there no Tbird 45.9esr? Mainstream no longer supports GTK+2 theming and looks horrible.

All,

I am being prompted to update thunderbird from 45.8esr. There is no 45.9esr available? Several weeks ago when the notice was triggered by a bug in the esr update path I was upgraded to 52 which broke lightning and would not recognize the GTK+2 theme. 52 looked horrible and there was no way to make it usable with a dark KDE desktop. Has this been fixed so I can feel confident about the update. There is no technical reason not to continue to support current themes as they work fine with 45.8. There is no reason not to continue to support the current GTK+2 themes until GTK+3 stabilizes and there are adequate themes available to work with dark desktop themes. Let me know, I'll stay at 45.8 until this is fixed.

(I apologize if you get 2 similar copies, the mozilla support site choked because I hadn't clicked on the confirm e-mail yet)
