Hi,

when there is a FF update available, I get a little nag window on every FF start and once in a while one big nag window. It is very annoying.

I have app.update.interval set to 3 day. Obviously doesn't work.

I don't want to turn the reminder off.

I also don't want to increase the idle delay state before nag.

What I think is the only logical way to approach this is this: I want a nag right away when the update is available and then get it every once in a while and I want to set this while myself. E.g. next reminder in 2 days, But I don't think this is possible. Or is it?

Thx in advance for any kind help!

Best,

)

Hi   !
Why don't you post this suggestion here and see what happens:

Good luck   !

app.update.interval - the default value is 43200 - seconds = 12 hours

So for 3 days you could try using 259200 and see if Firefox will honor that number.

Any particular reason that you are using Firefox 47 when Firefox 49.0.2 is the current Release version?

47.0.2, not 49.0.2

window for add-on developers to update when necessary.
