My e-mail address is johncharlesring@gmail.com, but it came out as harlesring@gmail.com, so how do I change it?
When setting up thunderbird I thought I had the e-mail address correct, but it appeared with the first 5 letters missing. I tried deleting Thunderbird and re - installing it, but it didn't ask me the e - mail address again - just set it up with the same wrong one. I know there should be something to change the settings, but I can't find it

right click the account in the folder pane and select settings. Check the entries on both the account name and the server settings.
