Lately YouTube playing videos have been playing super fast or skipping straight to the end. I mean, they are horribly fast.

Things to know:

• I am posting here because I can't determine whether browsers may have settings unique to them that I need to change. This also happens in Chrome, but not Edge.
• I was recently forced to upgrade to Windows 11 - I can't say this issue happened exactly at that time, but fairly recently after the upgrade. I am running Windows 11 Pro.
• This does NOT happen when playing in a private browser window, either Firefox or Chrome.
• Having the Mozilla VPN on or off has no effect.
• I am sure the playback speed is set to normal. I have tried changing the playback speed to anything but normal and then back to normal and the current video runs correctly UNTIL I play the next video.
• This does not happen with Vimeo.
• It does not happen in FF for Android.

Any questions, thoughts, or advice would be appreciated.

I have been using sandrawhitfield@comcast.net as user name for Firefox account. I want to delete that email because I'm leaving comcast ASAP. I read instruction that say add a new email name as a secondary account and then delete the primary one above. I entered whitfieldsandra@gmail.com. I got a message that said that account already exists. Since I didn't know that or remember any password for it, I entered whitfieldsandra@gmail.com and said "forgot password." I changed it Now Firefox won't let me in using the whitfieldsandra@gmail.com account. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

Since my last upgrade my You Tube starts up in the tiny right hand screen, fails to go to full screen or just disappear unless I close Firefox and restart often multiple times. This only happens on Firefox and only since the last upgrade.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Hello, when in the library, pressing F6 is meant to "Focus Search Field". This is documented at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly

However, since a recent update this no longer works. Instead, pressing F6 now switches the keyboard focus to the lefthand tree pane. A further press of shift+tab is needed to move to the search box.

My questions are: Has F6 stopped jumping to the library search box for anyone else? If so, was this a deliberate design choice? Does anyone know of an alternate keyboard shortcut to jump to the searchbox? Finally, is there anyway to revert to the old F6 behaviour?

Even if you can only answer the first question that would help, so I can determine whether or not it is just my Firefox. Although I have already tested in a brand new profile with the same results.

For the last several weeks (can't give an exact date, but it's been more than just a couple weeks, less than a couple months), both my husband and I have had issues loading videos in FF. We both have the latest version of FF. I went thru "Fix common audio and video issues" and did all those things, as well as trying to load the videos in troubleshooting mode. Nothing has helped (tho now that i cleared all the cache, i'm gonna have to log back into all those websites :( ). Nothing else is problematic. Our internet connection is fine. In fact, my husband has resorted to using MS browser to watch videos--they load fine in that browser. I have no other idea what to do. Searching your database for "youtube videos load slow" only resulted in a couple hits with no resolution. Hopefully this isn't the third. thanks

I'm sort of fed news that are often "Pro-women" by pocket in the name of thought-provoking stories. I feel that this has to do with some brain-washing agenda. I don't want to see these stupid pro-women news slapped on my face every time I open Firefox. How to show "pro-human" news that include both pro-men news and pro-women news?

Right now, I'm seeing many "Feminist news" rather than anti-feminist news. So, I'm completely blinded by one side of the coin. Here's the problem. Even when I see these feminist news, it's always positive about them. There are no "Redpill, MGTOW, MRA, MRM" news which is obviously the other side of the coin and I do see it, it's often negative. I see a bias here. I don't want that bias to be fed to my brain.

In short, I want to see a balanced view or "Pro-male" news because I'm a man. I don't want to be fed all these "Pro-female" news to me.

Hello everyone, I have had a problem for a few weeks on the X platform. Some buttons no longer appear, notably the edit button on an image post or the "see" button for a hidden account (see images attached) Does anyone have a solution? I uninstalled ALL the extensions and restarted the app, but nothing works! Thanks in advance

I have noticed in the help section that all sync data is removed if password is reset. I have just lost all my passwords, bookmarks, settings, everything, because I had to format my computer and didn't memorize my firefox password.

Is there any chance at all to have my data restored regardless? I understand I am at fault, but this outreach is my last hope, I guess.

Everytime I load Firefox the bookmarks sidebar is not shown.

Navigating thus View => Sidebar => Bookmarks I can bring it up. It will stay visible for the whole of my browser session. However, after I've closed this session and started another. the bookmark sidebar is missing again.

How can I make the bookmarks sidr be available all the time?

Hello, I use Duck Duck Go as a default search engine, with Google and others as alternatives. Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Recently firefox stopped playing audio, I have searched through the settings multiple times, tried safari and google chrome and they both still work so here I am for help.

Running 127.0.1 (64-bit) on EndeavourOS, KDE Plasma, using Wayland. I've had severe crash issues and when troubleshooting I noticed this

Error: Failed to open Wayland display, fallback to X11. WAYLAND_DISPLAY='wayland-0' DISPLAY=':1'

pops up every time I start Firefox via terminal. Why wouldn't Firefox be able to open a Wayland display? Trying to force it with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 firefox doesn't do anything. I get the same error message.

So i'm a basic PC user and not a Pro to solve Problems related to Web browsers. İ wonder if this happens to any one out there using Latest version of Firefox. (127.0.2 64bit) PS:İ use a app called user agent switcher to fix freezing or lagging or buffering. İ have read some where on the internet that youtube is doing it on purpose?. This happens only with Firefox but not with Microsoft edge.

Hi, Archived thread on this from 2023 has no answers. Why is this browser so slow now and why is it glitching with resizing my windows? Beyond a total reinstall - how completely inconvenient - I would like an EASY FIX.

Recently Roboform add-on has not been working with Firefox I have made several efforts to ensure that it works automatically filling in passwords as previously but the add-on does not seem stable, afte reloading it works briefly then stops again. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Thanks
