my old thunderbird is inactive. I have the back up files in my documents in .sbd and .msf and also the file. how can i import them to a new thunderbird?

My laptop got virus so I had to format it therefore I lost my old thunderbird but I since had a back up of my e-mails, so they are stored in my hard. they are in .sbd, .msf and also "file" extensions. I want to import them to my new thunderbird. please advise how?? Thanks

The mail files are the ones without a file extension, e.g. Inbox or Read.

You can install this add-on and import the mail files (mbox files) into your current profile.
