I have an insidious homepage that I cannot get rid of. It is called findwide. I have tried to contact their website but emails always comeback. Cannot deliver. I have searched the web but nothing seems to come up. I was using WaterFox and I thought it was part of the problem. It wasn't. I have tried to use every method to get rid of this insidious homepage but nothing works. I need help. I was able to get rid of it in Internet Explorer but not FireFox.

Try to reset some preferences to the default with the SearchReset extension:

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:
