Running Windows XP, Avast free anti-virus, Outpost Free Firewall. No recent changes to any settings. But suddenly this problem occurred. It's getting to where I now have to restart my computer a few times to get Firefox to find and open my home page. Keep getting the "cannot find server" notice. Retry button no help. Restarting Firefox no help Must restart computer! No malware detected in any scans. I'm kinda new at all this. Can anyone please help? Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
